Emerging Roles for Inflammation in CNS Injury and Disease
The
aim of this Satellite was to discuss the contribution that the host
inflammatory response makes to the pathogenesis of a broad-spectrum of
neuropathologies, which unlike multiple sclerosis, are not traditionally
considered to have a significant inflammatory component.

in PD. Special emphasis was placed on mitochondrial genetics and the
role of mitochondria in the regulation of cell death mechanisms.
